I was seven years old when I heard my first ghost story and I was completely fascinated. Since then I had developed an unreasonable thirst for ghost stories. I spent most of my growing years in Makati City–a business district just south of Manila.

After school, I would spend the rest of the afternoon sitting next to my grandmother and hearing all her stories. My favorite was her ghost stories most of them(she claimed) were true stories either from people she knew or based on her own experiences.

Exchanging stories became my special way of socializing. I wish I could say I had heard them all, but, I cannot. Armed with a little knowledge on the subject I dared to write. Over the years I have come to understand some aspects of the supernatural realm, and with the help of my humble writings, I hope I can share what I know.
